LONDON, Februarv 16.
The ' Nation.' discussing Britain's tremendous commitments, states that when the- new vote of credit for £550,000.003 is exhausted at the end of Mav the war bill will reach £4.182.000.000. and the National Debt will then be £4,200,000.000. The conclusion of the war will not bring immediate relief, and the probable total indebtedness will lie £6.000,000.000. of which £I.OCO,OCO.COO will have been' advanced to the- -Allies. We would be called on to pay £250,000.000 interest vearlv. in addition to £IOOXOO,OOO for sinking 'fund and pensions. The 'Nation' estimated that the new war loan will be over £500,000,000 of new monev.
