REILLY, GILL, ANT) CO„ Moray place, Dunedin, THE SCIENTIFIC TREATMENT OF RUPTURE. rjjTHE Dr SHERMAN METHOD of Treat--L ing Rupture is diametrically different to the ordinary truss method, which, exerting a downward “ spreading ” pressure, absolutely prevents healing, as it pushes the ruptured walls apart. Thus, when once worn it has to be worn practically a lifetime. On an exactly opposite principle, the Dr Sherman Method exerts an upward “contractile” pressure, bolding the injured membrane in such a way that it heals; and this healing is aided by the application of a useful adjunct in the form of a curative compound. The result is startling. Relief is mstant, and, instead of the rupture remaining stationary or growing worse, it gradually becomes smaller, and ultimately disappears. This has been proved in cases of 10, 20, 30 40, and 50 years’ standing. SUFFERERS in the COUNTRY DISTRICTS would do well to take a day or two off for the sake of getting scientific treatment. Mr A. W. MARTIN, Solo Controller of the Dr A. Sheraian Method of Treatment, has relumed. from the Commonwealth, and may bo consulted at bis Rooms, Samson’s Buildings, Dowling street, Dunedin. Hours : 10 a.m. to 12, 2 p.m. to 5. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Extra hours: Monday evening,_ from 7 to 8. A Booklet on Rupture and its treatment is posted free to any sufferer. Consultations are froo.
