LONDON, February 15 Lord Curzon, replying to criticisms in the House of Lords on the multip'ication of office buildings and officials, pleaded the immensity of the war needs, and quoted the example of the Ministry of Munitions. At the beginning of tho war £1,000,000 was spent in Army munitions, and for the present financial year £500.000,000. The number of controlled establishment*; under tho Ministry of Munitions was 4,651, and they employed nearly 2,000,000 hands.
