BISHOP BRODIE. [Special to the ' Star.’] CHRISTCHURCH. February 13. Among those drawn in to-day’s" ballot is the Roman Catholic Bishop of Christchurch (Dr Brodie). Several well-known newspaper men are caught, including Hugh Wake (agricultural editor of the ‘ Sun ’), E. E. Crawshaw (a well-known cricketer, and a North Canterbury representative, who is on the ‘Press'), George Hendry (sub-editorial staff of the * »mn )• A. P. Boyer (Lyttelton agent of the ‘Press’), and S. Evison (publisher of the ‘ Sun ’).
