PAGEANT PLAY

A meeting was held in Mr E. S. Wilson's board room yesterday afternoon to set up a committee in connection with the production of the pageant play ‘The Sv.iu'L’ which has been written by Mrs O. •L U. AT, Buttorworth. P. .Marshall, 'll. Hudson, Reilly, •>. Hutcln-on. and Misses Graham and Ratt 'ay. Mr G. \V. MTntnsh was elected chairman and Mr K, S. Wilson secretary. Mrs Napier reported that tho play "was well ;n band, and rehearsals had been held f»r some time. It was resolved that those present form themselves into a committee. It is expected that this novel play will appeal strongly to the Dunedin public, arid that the two beneficiaries should con* siderahly benefit by these performances.
