PRICE OF BUTTER
- (Ter United Press Association.} WELLINGTON, October 5. The question of a proposed increase in the price of butter by 2d per lb has not yet been settled. The report of the Board of ira.de was considered by a committee of the Cabinet this morning, but no decision was arrived at pending a further conference with the board. Tile Board or Trade sat at Wellington yesterday to inquire into the demand of the butter producers that thev should be allowed to increase the local price by 2d per lb cr to export without restriction.]
