SALE OF WORK
ST. MART’S, MORXTXGTON. The annual sale of work promoted by St. Mary's (Mornington) Ladies’ Guild was opened in the schoolroom this afternoon. The hail was open for business this afternoon, hut the solo will be officially opened to-night by Mr 0. K. Stalham, M.P. The stalls are attractively arranged, and on them there is a large quantity of good* which should iim! ready purchasers. Tho / ladies of the parish had been working < hard for some months, and tho articles made by them, which aro on view on tho Ladies’ Guild stall, aro excellent in point of workmanship. To-night and tho following evening a pierrot play will bo given by under tho direction of Miss'W. Martyn. The stallholders are as follow Guild stall—Mesdames Small, Edwards, Statham, Barton, Kingston, Dickinson. / G.F.S. Stall.—Mrs • WhitcomW and Povntz and members of the G.F.S. . Art Stall.- —M esdames Jeffs and Hobbs. Sweet Stall.—Miss Martyn and assistants. Produce Stall.—Mesdames Holland, Wolslcnholmo, and Shugar. Christmas Tree.—Misses Whitcombe and King.
