AN AGREEMENT REACHED,

WESTPORT, April 18. An industrial agreement was signed today by delegates from the mines at Denniston, Millertou, Stockton, and representatives of the Westport Coal and West-port-Stockton Companies. Tho agreement, which is for a period of 12 months, grants a 10 per cent, advance to all members of the unions whether above or below ground and other small concessions. Explosives are to remain at the same price as prior to the war during the currency of the agreement.
