WAIvARI.

The. year 1915 commenced with a roll number of 144, and -ended with 158, the average attendance being 134. The roll number at present is 560, and the average for the quarter ended March 31 last was 151. The annual i.ispection was conducted by Inspectors Bossenee and Don. whose report was , msidcred eminently satisfactory. The school lias taken a very prominent part in a -'latum to patriotic efforts. Since the beginning of»tho war it lias raised over £2o' for various'funds, and sent in over 500 articles for our soldiers. The school bazaar last August was a splendid succoss, £l4l 10s being raised for the wounded, soldiers' fund. For tho first time a flower show was held in connection with the school, £l2 6s being taken hs a result of the effort. Necessary alterations and improvements to the school furnit'irc will -shortly be taken in hand by the Education Koaid. Tho school branch, of the Navy League hud a record membership of tO. A spjundid Singer sewing machine was supplied I to the school during the year, and has been of great usa in connection with the work of sewing for the soldiers.
