The Hank of New Zealand has received from its London office the following cable ad vice regarding the closing of the present- series of colonial wool sales in London ;—"-London wool sales closed linn at decline; 29.000 bales New Zealand bejel over. The Russian Government have prohibited lire export of butter for six months from November 1 in order to provide for military requirements and borne consumption. which is expected to require half a million casks.
