One censor passed a soldier’s letter which said ; “ I'am enclosing 5s with this, “but I must tell you that it has to go through the Censor’s hands.” The Censor testified on a corner of the letter : “The Censor has withstood the temptation.” The emerald improves in color by exposure to light.
