WEIIJE3TON, September 11. The following list of casualties was received to-day: Admitted to Canadian; Hospital. New Zealand Veterinary Corps: Taplow Buckinghamshire and H. M. Bruning, wounded. wounded havo arrived at the Military Hospital, Bethnal Gxeen, London:—Wellington Mounted Rifles, j! Butsby and G. E. Newlands ; Otago Mounted Rifles, S. G. Dewai-; Auckland Battalion, J. B. Penk. The following wounded have arrived at the Military Hospital, Eugell .street, London :—Wellington Mounted Rifles, T. W. Murphy; New Zealand Field Artillery, J. B. Wilby; Auckland. Battalion—W. S. Blackie, W. S. Graham, H. Tipping; Wellington Battalion, F. J. Foster; Canterbury Battalion, T. G. Mold: Otago Battalion, J. Thomas and A. J. Willcocks. The following disembarked at Malta from the hospital ship Andania on August 21, slightly wounded:—New Zealand "Engineers, J.. Houston; Canterbury Battalion, C. A. Tetley; Canterbury Mounted Rifles, P. M. Luisetti; Wellington Battalion, S. Fenton; Wellington Mounted Rifles, Mr J. Brosnahan; Auckland Battalion, G. A. Mannsell. The following disembarked at Malta from the hospital ship Aseania on August 25, slightly wounded:--Wellington Battalion, W. V. Miller; Auckland Battalion, F. W. Bullott. The following were, admitted to the General Hospital at Alexandria' on September 5 : —Canterbury Battalion—Wounds kg and back (serious), Corporal J. Boyce; right arm (serious), J. R. Friakletton." The following are reported as wounded (no date given):—Otago Battalion—Arm and back, A- M'Kay; right thigh, 1). Matthews; abdomen, W. S. Phillips; injury hip, J. Simnson ; wounded in foot, K. U. Clarke. DIED OF WOUNDS. J. A. M'NEIL, Otago Mounted Rifles (September 2).

PERSONAL. Sergeant Robert William Craig (died of enteric on August 22) -was 34 years of age. He was the second son of the late Mr Robert. Craig, of Round Hill. He was born at Round Hill, and educated at Manuka. After leaving school he worked on his father's farm, but four years ago he joined the Telegraph Department as a linesman, and followed this occupation till he enlisted with the First Expeditionary Force as a corporal. While he was in Egypt ho was promoted to the rank of sergeant. He was a- popular young man, being held in high esteem by all who made his acquaintance. News of his death was received with deep regret in Waitahuna. His brother Hugh is in training at Trentham. Private Alfred Orr (Otago Battalion, reported wounded at the Dardanelles between August 6 and 7) is the fifth son of Mr and Mrs A. Orr. Balfour. Southland. He was born at Ta.nanui, and educated at the Isla Bank and Balfour Public Schools. He was 20 years of age, and in the employment *of M'lvellar Bros.', Glemure, at the time of enlistment, and was the first volunteer from the district. Ho was an enthusiastic sport, being a member of the Debating Society, Football Club, and Caledonian Society. Private cable advice iias been received that-' Sergeant A. J. M'Kenzio (brother of Major D. B. M'Kenzie), who was attached to the Canterbury Mounted Rifles, has been wounded and is in the Canadian Hospital. Cable _ advieo was received from Captain D Whit© this morning from Alexandria, to the effect that he is returning to his regiment fit and well. Private James Murphy, son of Mr Jas. Murphy, "Woodend," Woodhaugh, Dunedin, now reported killed, was educated at George Street and Leith Valley Schools. His first occupation was at Anderson's foundry, but for the past eight years he had been in the Gisbovne district. Ho was in Gisb'orne at the time he enlisted. He was a- member of the Wellington Battalion. He was born at "Woodend." Woodhaugh, in the year 1884. His younger brother, Private Win. Murphy, is at the front. Mr Alexander Frafier, 6 Glasgow street, South Dunedin, has received a message suiting that his son. Private Leslie T. Fraser, was wounded on August 7. Private Fraser, who is 25 years of age, w;us born in Aherdeenshire, Scotland, and was employed as a farm laborer inland about Otago prior to enlistment. He joined, the Main Expeditionary Force. His elder brother James was* killed at the Dardanelles towards the end of April.
