Captain Muir has resumed command of the Blackball Company’s collier Ngaknta, relieving Captain P. J. Dowell, who has reverted to his former position as chief officer of the Ngahere. Captain Bilton is taking the Pukaki over to Melbourne, whore she will be delivered. to her new owners, Messrs Win. Crosby and Co., who have purchased the vessel from the Union Company. An exchange. states that the Pukaki will probably run between Ocean Island and Australian ports. : | THE FERRY SERVICE.
