WOOL BALK. A supplementary wool sale was hold in the board room adjoining the Victoria Hall yesterday afternoon, and the 600 bales offered sold under good competition. Merino wool was back from -jd to I,d a lb. but cross-bmU and half-brods were, on the whole, from jd to firmer than at last sale. Merino fleece sold to 12jd; half-bred to 17d ; cross-bred to 16jd; lambs’ wool to 16jd ; first pieces to lojd; bellies and second pieces to lid ; locks to 7jd; washed pieces to 17jd ; and slipe wool to 22] d.
