The anniversary of the birth of Robert Bonis will be celebrated with all ceremony on Monday evening in the. Garrison Hall by the Burns Club. An address will be given by Mr James Oraigie, M.P., who is an enthusiastic Burns student, and one who has done much in his time to encourage a love for Scottish poetry and literature. A fine programme of Burns songs and recitations, which will be found on another pa-ge, will be rendered by the best local talent and the club choir." The Dunediu Pipe Band and Mr Beath's instrumental cjua-rtet will render nation:*! music. Additional interest in the gathering will be stimulated by the presence of guests in the persons of the Right Hon. Mr Fisher, Prime. Minister of the Australian Commonwealth, and Mr Boyd, M.P., who have signified their intention of attending. There is sure to bo a record house to do honor to the memory of Burns, and to see and hear the distinguished visiter?.
