The monthly meeting of the. Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Committee, was held this morning. Mr T. T. Ritchie (president) occupied tho chair, and there was a good attendance, of members.
The Board of Agriculture wrote in re the question of noxious weeds, and asking for certain information and. expressions of opinion.—Matter to be, dealt with at next meeting. The schedule for the Winter Show, to be held in June, was carefully revised and several special classes added, with a view to increasing tho attractiveness of the show to exhibitors and the public. It was decided that the fifty guinea trophy recently presented by Mr Win. Patrick be given to the exhibitor gaining the most points in factory cheese, elasses; the trophy to be won three times, not necessarily in succession. A sub-committee was set up to arrange details. It was announced that tho number of trophies to be offered for competition this year promised to make the forthcoming show a particularly attractive one.
