From the Bristol we have received a. copy of 'Fall In." a new patriotic so,—, published with a patriotic purpose-- viz., to swell the Prince of Wale- fund. The words arc Ivy Harold Begbie. recognised as almost an o'llicial recorder in verse of the changing currents of London life. They are nil appeal to the young and unattached to enlist -to realise that there arc graver issues afoot than football, racing, or the picture -how. Sir F. H. Cowen has given them a simple, straightforward, but stirring setting in march lime. The range is within the compa-s of the ordinary vocalist, and there seems no reason why "Fall Tn ' should not at once have a considerable vogue, and fulfil the, dual purpose already indicated.
