A large meeting of Justices of the Peace pass'd a resolution urging the Government to intern all male alien enemies in New Zealand—whether naturalised British subjects or non-naturaliscd —for the duration of the war. It is .suggested that they ho treated in a kindly "and humanitarian spirit, but prevented from causing any mischief to tho community.
