I A meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Amateur Athletic Club wa* held last evening, Mr I’. Doull (president) occupying the chair The business was to decide what further meetings would he held this season. On the motion of Mr llatnaim it was resolved —"That throe evening meetings be held on Fridays. January 29. February .5. one February 12." The programmes were ar ranged as follow : - January 29 : 100 Yards. 220 Yard*. One Mile. Butting the Shot. ■Broad Jump. February 3: 120 'hards. 1 Half-mile. High Jump. Hop. Step, and : Jump. Belay Face (200 yds each, open c all athletic ciubsi. February 12; 75 Yards 140 Yards. 100 Yards ,under 18 year?-, Two Miles. Hole Vault. It was decide;! to j leave all events open, not confining any i to club members only. i Six new members were elected. The Secretary reported tiiat the Otago ; provincial ehnimiioiiships would be held ,on February 20, and that it was very j probable that a further meeting would he ' held by the Caledonian Society.
