The circuit quarterly meeting was held at the St. Kilda -Methodist Church last evening. There was a splendid representation of" officials, 25 being present. The chairman (the Ber. A. J. Seamer) vel. corned Mr G. E. Brown back to the circuit, and expressed his appreciation of the work of the officials throughout the circuit dining tie year, -which, bad, from many standpoints, been most sueoessfuL The membership roll was submitted to the meeting, and revealed an increase, in spite of several transfer©. The balancesheet showed a slight credit on the quarter's working. There was an improvement in the totals of the ordinary collections in each church of the circuit as compared to the corresponding quarter of last year. Great satisfa-ction -was expressed concerning the work of the minister and other preachers. Messrs Albert Beck and W. H. Burrows were elected, as circnit stewards, and Mr J. H. Brown was appointed to represent the circuit at conference. Mr W, H. Burrows was elected substitute representative. The representative was instructed by a unanimous resolution to do his utmost to secure the reappointment of the "Rev. A. J. vSeamer a* of the circuit,
