Grim and grey the troopships Tahiti and Maunganui have arrived ba-ck at Porti Chalmers. The troops were landed safely at Alexandria in good fettle. The Tahiti lost 3 horses out of 282. The troopships bunkered for the return trip at Aden. The crews are not to be paid off, it is understood, and this is taiten to mean that these vessels, which still retain their special fittings, will again be used for conveying troops.
