There was a fair attendance of buyers, hut bidding was very dull, although prices for all good skins were fully up to last gale’s level. Dead half-bred showed a slight- advance, whilst lamb skins and pood Jglts also showed a rise of about |d per lb. Quotations :—Best half-bred. OJd to 9|d, good 9d to 9|d. inferior 7J,d to 3-U1 j best fine cross-bred, to coarse cross-bred, to 9^d; medium to good 8d to BJd, inferior to ?2<l : best merino, to 6Jd; good. 5-Jd to 5d : best pelts, to 6£ds best lamb skins, to 7kl per lb.
