Won by two lengths. Time, lruin 23sec. [By Our Own Reporter.] The weather was dull and chilly. In the Hurdles Andrea and Kingsway made the paco solid, establishing a good break. The first named outstayed Kingsway in the last hundred yards. Beacon, the favorite, came strongly, but failed to get up by a long head. Stone Ginger was third, Ngatiruamii and Hatana close up. Andrea., on. whom M'Sevenoy had tho mount, was tho rank outsider. Time, 2niin 49sec. Martigues (Porter) and Testir got all the best of tho start in the Trial Stakes, in which Stargazer was hopelessly left. This pair led to the straight, where Helicon joined them, Martigues, the favorite, winning easily by a couple, of lengths. Time, lmin 21sec. SOUTHLAND RACES.
