Tho largest remount depot in Great Britain is now in the course of construction at Lathom Park, near Ormskirk, Lancashire, the residence of Earl Lathom, over 400 men being engaged in the work. The cost of the depot will be £60,000, and stables and men's quarters are being built to accommodate 5,500 horses and 1,800 grooms and rough riders.
