The blowing np of the battleship Mcssoudieh caused consternation in Constantinople. Twenty Turks and 10 Germans wero court raartialled, of whom, three were condemned to death on the ground of neglect. The others received sipallor sentences. A German officer struck a Turkish soldier in the face, •aro'nsing the anger of a section of the Mussulman population, Many Turkish officers are refusing to salute their Gorman colleagues. The Young Turks are taking advantage of this to arrest _many old Turks known to be unsympathetic to Enver Pasha.
