Delegates were appointed to represent the centre at the various country and other meetings during the holidays. Permits to bold sports meetings on dates arranged were granted to the various clubs. The Chaslands Club bad been granted a permit to hold their meeting on December 30, upon which date the Papatowai Club usually held their meeting, and the latter club had also applied for a permit. It was decided to allow both clubs to hold their meetings on the same day this year. Oh the motion of Mr Carroll it was decided that it be a remit to the annual meeting of the union that the secretaries of country clubs should forward the dates upon which they intended to hold their meetings to tho centre, lo as to prevent the clashing of dates.
