The quarterly meeting of Court Littlejohn, A.0.F., was held m the Linden lodge room on Tuesday evening, C.R. Bro. A. H, Sinclair being in the chair. The following officers for ihe ensuing term were installed bv D.iS. Bre. Macfio and I.P.D.C.R. Bro. Wilson:—C.R., Bro. A. E. Thurston; D.C.R., Bio G Paul; treasurer, Bro G. H. Reynolds; secretary, Bro, R. 0. Wilson; S.W., Bro. J. Rodgers; J.W., Bro. S. Edwards; 5.8., Bro. L. M’Kenzie; J. 8., Bro. A. S. Sinclair; 1.P.C.R., Bro. A. 11. Sinclair; trustee, Bro. S. Edwaods; auditor, Bro. W. H. Haig. It was decided to nominate the following for District officers:—For D.C.R, Bro. Grainger; D.S.C.R., Bro. Wm. Sinclair; D.T., Bro. Hope; D.S., Bro. Macfio; D.8., Bro. Isbister; District trustee, Bro. Wm. Mearns; District auditors—Bros. R. S. Menzies and W. R. Brugh. It was reported that Mr H. L. Thompson had left to join the reinforcements or the Expeditionary Fore©, and tho sympathy of the members was expressed with D.C.R. Bro. Love, who had met with an accident which prevented him from attending the meeting. A hearty vote of thank’s was accorded to D.S. Bro. Macfie for his attendance and assistance in the installation ceremony. The following brothers were elected District delegates:—P.C.R.s Bros. A.. S. Sinclair, J. H. Reynolds, and S. Edwards.

Tho Rescue Lodge held Iheir weekly meeting in the lodge room, Kensington, C.T. Bro. J Hilton presiding. A letter was received from the Lily of the Valley Lodge reminding the members of the initiation competition to be held shortly. A greeting was received from the same lodge wishing the members the compliments of tho season. The item for the evening was a debate with the Hope of Dunedin Lodge. The opponents did not arriv.e, so the Rescue won by default. Tho C.T. wished all members of tho lodge a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. The usual vote of thanks was accorded to the visitors, and responded to by Sister Strang (Hope of Dunedin) and Bro. Patterson (Lily of the Valley).
