ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
Herbert Kersall. 19 years of age, employed in mail delivery at the Palmerston North Post Office, collided with a train yesterday afternoon, was rendered unconscious, and was taken to the hospital. He was riding a motor cycle over a level crossing, and did not notice an approaching train. After striking the engine he was thrown some 15 yards. An Ashburton message states that when stepping out of a gig this morning Miss Bundle trod on the hem -of her dress and fell and broke her left leg.
