Winifred Nellie Scott, aged three years, was burnt to death at Qiuienstowu through her clothes catching fi■•;<•. At the inquest on. William M'Law, a resident of Waimatuku, the coroner found that death was due to a gunsuot wound eelf-inflicted in a -state of temporary insanity.—lnvercargill wire.
