champions of the cause had been unsuccessful, satisfaction was expressed that a majority for Prohibition had been cast and that, but for the unfair handicap, would now bo tho Jaw of tho land. As a majority of members had been elected who are favorable to a reduction of the handicap to at least 55 per cent., right would ultimately prevail. It was J brothers' night and they gave an enter- ! tainment of songs, and fruit and confec--1 tions handed round. They received I a vote of thanks.
