CARGO CARRIERS
STATEMENT BY PRIMS MINISTER. [Feb United Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, Decomber 13. The_ Prime Miideter has supplied tin* following information regarding the. number of steamers available for the carrying of New Zealand meat and produce during the months of January and .February:— January (estimated number of vessels required 7, number available 12 —10 insulated and 2 uninsulated). Orari, Whakatane, Somerset, Waiwera, Mamari, Kia Ora, Delphic, Indrapum, Cordobes, Dorset (all insulated), Queen Margaret and Moppisport (both uninsulated). February (estimated number of vessel* required 11, number available 13—11 insulated and 2 uninsulated).—Otaki, Rerauera, Waimate, Kaikoura, Matatua, Makarini, Corinthic, Waiwera, Athenic, Westmere, Mimiro (all insulated), Wlrrol, and Aldroch (both uninsulated).
