The Lily of the Valley Lodge held their fortnightly meeting in Uie (Joule Low s’ Hall, Albany street, A.D. Bra. Paul presiding. Tiio half-yearly balance-sheet and auditors’ report showed tho lodge to be in a very flourishing condition, the ballot for Grand Lodge representative* resulted in Bros. Crawford and Freeman elected unanimously. The Bay Lougc held their quarterly meeting in the Druids’ Hall, Anderson Bay (Bro. S. Anderson presiding). Nominations of officers were taken as toilows : —A.D., Bro. J. Cunningham ; V.A.., Bro. R-. Htunciss; secretary, Bio. R. IS. j Cox (re-elected); treasurer, Bro. G. Ilellycr j (re-elected) ; 1.G., Bro. T. .Douglas ; 0.G., tiro. G. W. Kirkwood; A.D. Balds, Bros. A. Harper and AJurray; V.A. Bards, Bros. Tonkins-ou ami Wiiittv. It was decided to keep the brothers wno have gone to the front financial on the books till their return. A trophy was presented to tho lodge by a visitor, to be given to the brother who brings in the most members to the Bay Lodge during the next six months. Gordon (Otago), and P.A. Bro. Birt (Pride of Alornington). ,At the quaiterly meeting of Ivanho-a Lodge (A.D. Bro. R. Cahill presiding) it was decided to accept the application of Dr Fergus for the vacancy on their medical officers’ list. Tho following wore nominated for the position of District President :—Bro. J. Bro. G Alexander, P.D.P. Bro. Dove, and P.A. Bro. Adams represented tho Grand Lodge, D.P. Bro. Stewart the Enterprise, and P.A. Bro. Birt the Prideof Morniugton. D.P. Bro. Stewart, assisted by G.P. Bro. Alexander, then installed the elected officers. The usual toaste wore responded to by the Grand Lodge officers anil P.A. Bro. Birt (candidate for D.P.). Two candidates for D.P. were voted upon, and the result forwarded to tho Grand Lodge
