LODGE MEETING

The Dope of Dunedin Lodge. J.0.G.T., held their weekly meeting on Friday evening in the lodge room, Moray place, Bro. Adams, C.T.. presiding. There was a good attendance of members and visitors —one from InveroargiJJ being specially welcomed by tho C.T. Two candidates wore initiated and admitted to membership. An invitation to Flowor Night at the Pioneer Lodge was accepted. Peports of tho church parade, the visit to the Lily, and the concert were made and approved of. An informal discussion re the coming elections "resulted in it being generally understood that members would stand by tho candidates chosen by the Temperance Reform Council, and that everyone would strike out tho top line on both papers—lo -aI and national. The new guides were received from the printer and distributed, and the C.T. directed attention to next night, which is brothers' night. A vote of thanks to the visitors and to r-'ister M'Farlane for presiding at the piano was carried and responded to by members of the Pioneer, Lily, and Re>c,ie Lodges.
