The body of a man about 6ft in height ■was found on Saturday on the beach five miles south of Cape Foulwind. It is believed to be the body of a member of the crew of the Kairaki, which was lost some time ago while on her way to Greymouth. While cycling down Stuart street yesterday a young lad named Henry Aitken lost control of" his machine, and ran into the fence at the Octagon. Ho was picked up by Mr F. G. Cunningham, who took him to the Dunedin Hospital, where a nasty scalp wound was attended to. His condition to-day is gTeatly improved, he being quite conscious.
