Four persons are missing as a result of the Whitlea (Yorkshire) liddito disaster. Huu.-es 200 yards distant were practically demolished, and persons were injured who were working half a mile away. The- girls in a neighboring factory became panicstriken, and eoine leaped from the windows, two being seriously injured.
