During the past week the Electric No. 1 dredge worked 155 hours for a distance ahead of 18ft. The usual width of cut was worked, and there was no change in the ground. The river was variable all the week, and heavy drift was still flowing. The prospects continued fair, and the sample of gold was of a mixed nature.
