SPECIAL PRIZES. Tho following completes the list of special prizes awarded in connection with the recent Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Summer Show:— The Clydesdale Horae Society’s silver medal for the best "yearling or two-year-old filly, bred by exhibitor, who must bs a member of the Otago A. and. P. Society. —Mr X. J. Gawn. Messrs Dawson’s (Limited) challenge shield, valued at 40 guineas, to be competed for in the cattle classes under the following conditions; —The shield to be won three times, not necessarily consecutively, before becoming tho absolute property of -winner, and to be awarded to the exhibitor gaining the largest number of points. The competition is open to all exhibitors of cattle (with the exception of dairy and fat cattle), provided that there are three or more exhibitors in each class, and the stock must also have been the bone fide property of the exhibitor for three months prior to date of show. Now held by Cowan Bros.—Mr Arch. Qilliee.
