SYDNEY, November 30. The hearing of the cnee in which the State Attorney-General (Mr Hall) clamw £5,000 damages from the newspaper ‘The Worker’ for an alleged libel was commenced to-day. The ground of the action was an article charging the AttorneyGeneral with a miscarriage of justice in refusing to file a bill against a man committed “for trial on a charge of making a false declaration.
