The Auckland wool Bales were held today. Thera was a record entry of 1,220 bales. Prices all round show an increase compared with the corresponding sale of last year. Tin® wools were in good demand, averaging a penny per lb increase, and coarser wools l£d increase. Bush wools also showed an improvement, sellers offering 8d to 9d per lb. The best prices at the morning sales were 12d for crossbred merino and Shropshire, for coartcr varieties.
