Advice hat been received at Eltham that the Egmont Box Company’s No. 2 mill, south of Taihape, and two cottages and two tents wore totally destroyed by fire on Thursday. The fire was caused by sparks from burning bush on an adjoining property. The heavy stocks held by the company will, it is stated, enable the directors to continue supplies without difficulty. The property was insured for £7OO in the Sun Office.
