The quarterly meeting of members of the Society of Musicians of Otago was held on Saturday in Messrs Chas. Begg and Co.’s, A largo number of members and visitors were present, and a very enjoyable programme was given. This included piano solo by Miss A Bary, I>. A.B. ( songs by Misses V. Barth, G. Helen Gard’uer, Mr G. W. Johnstone, L.A.8., and violin sol by Mr B. .Swan. All these numbers were fully appreciated. Signor Squariso presided, * anti on his motion tho performers wore accorded a hearty vote of thanks, also Messrs Chas. Begg and Co. for tho use of their showroom.
