A meeting of the South Dunediu work ers was held in the library at the Hillside Workshop; yesterday afternoon, when Mr G. C. Israel presided over a large gathering of ladies and arrangements in connection with the Hospital Saturday collection were discussed over a cup of tea. Matters in connection with the collection are now well in hand, and next Saturday promises to be the most successful Hospital Saturday yet held in Dunedin. The annual Hospital Saturday collection is to be taken up in Port Chalmers and surrounding districts as usual. The ladies who collected last year, with the addition of a lew others, are going to tako hi hand the matter of collecting. Mr A. Leek, the energetic treasurer, is making all arrangements, and he wishes all ladies willing to help to communicate with him. Mr Leek expresses the hope that the weather will prove favorable, and that patriotic movements will not interfere with the collecting for the Hospital.
