MAIL NOTICE.
Northern Ports (overland). —6.30 a.m and 10.30 a.m. daily. Christchurcb, and. Intermediate Towns (overland).—6.3o a.m. and 10.30 a-m. at the C.P.0.; late letters, 7.40 a.m. and 8 a.m. (train); 10.45 a.m. and 11.15 a.m. (train). Invercargill and Intermediate Towns.— 7.30 a.m. and 3.45 p.m. at the C.P.0.; lata letters, 8 a.m. and 8.20 a.ru. (train); 4 p.m. and 4.25 p.m. (train). For Greymouth, Hokitika, and Reefton. —On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10.30 a,m. For Cromwell, Clyde, Banfnrly, Naseby via Banfnrly, and intermediate offices, daily at 6.30 a.m.; late letters on guard's van 7.45 a.m. Late-fee letters only must bear Id in addition to the ordinary postage. Registered letter mails close one hour and newspaper printed matter and sample packets, etc., 30 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails. The posting boxes on the second express being available for late-fee letters only, all nooks and packets must ba posted at the chief office. For Earotonga and Tahiti (by north exfiress) at 10 a.m. on Monday. Late-fee etters, C.P.O. till 10.30 a.m., and on guard's van till 11.15 a.m. For Lylitelton and Christchuroh (pei Mokoia), at noon on Tuesday. Late-fee letters, 1 p.m. on board. For Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji (bv north express), at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Novem ber 26. .Late-fee letters, C.P.O. till 10.3 C a.m., and on guard's van till 11.15 a.m. For Australian States, Ceylon, India China, Japan, Straits Settlement*, Soutr Africa, Continent of Europe, and United Kingdom (by north express), at 10 a.ir. Late-fee letters, C.P.O. till 10.30 a.m. or Thursday. November 26; guard's van till 11.15 a.m. Cocvcspondenco for the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe must ne specially addressed **Via Buei'' For the Chatham Islands, at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday.
