Sir,—A number of young men have their lives insured, and others belong to benefit societies. The small sum they receive in payment when called to arms is insufficient*to enable thorn to keep up tho annual payments of premiums. Would it be possible for the Patriotic Association to meet these liabilities for those who are giving up so much for others who are unable or unwilling to take up arms? If employers who are in tho position to do so would undertake this duty I think our boys would feel free to offer their services to the Empire.—l am, etc.. Mother of a Soldikr. November 19.
