Bidding was spirited, and there was keen competition for all sound, '."o-Jl-jrrown wools. Cross-breds cold particularly well, realising over 13d. Coarser wools commanded pood prices, and sold weli up to and above values. Pieces and bellies had an extremely good demand, ! mainly on the part of fellmongexs, whilst crutchings were taken for Japan. Prices on tho whole for pood sound wools were over Id above last year's rates.
