There died in -Northwick Infirmary Tkom.v, Sandere, an old ago pensioner. He was found at the fcofi of a. stack of straw with, bis skull and cheek bone* fractured. His hai and boots were on the stack, and it is surmised he rolled off while sleepingGilbert, the famous French aviator, has been wounded in the band as the result of a daring reconnaissance of Ih© enemy's position near th© allied centre. Ho is in hospital, but has written to a French friend in London that ha hope* to scjon be op flying duty agam*
