I wish to state, in reply to “ F.M.’s” letter, in_your issue of Saturday, that it is not in accordance with facts'that I stated that “the Labor party were not recognising any other candidate.” They are not recognising any candidate outside of Messrs Muoro and Walker, and they having stated that I could not possibly state what I knew to lie ineoi'rect. A man with a good reputation and moral character need fear nothing, however, from letters such as that written by ‘‘ F M."—l am, etc., George S. Tuomso.v. November 9.
