TO THE EDITOR. jjir,—.Could any of your readers who are well versed in union rules and regulations tell me if men working under an award are entitled to pay for any holidays? My reason for asking is that my hnsband is a corporation employee, and has had Labor Day docked off his wages. I was always under the impression that this was a paid holiday for every working man. To lose a day’s pay at the present time, when men are, giving regularly of their wages to help others, is no joke. Hoping for information on this subject— I am, etc., A Wife. November 7.
