A meeting of creditors in the estate of Charlca Hill, solicitor, who disappeared from Christchurch torn* weeks ago. was held to-day. An accountant'# report di«cloaad that the books were in a state of chaos, and that the ledger had not been balanced for nine years. The liabilities were estimated at over £19,000, but while the books showed assets amounting to £25,000, investigation showed that this wan about twice their real value.
