A QUESTION OF PROCEDURE. [Pkb Ukii:d Press Association. J WELLINGTON, November 2. The Full Court delivered its reserved decision in » claim by ilia Mayor of New Plymouth v. Minister of Public Works for land taken for the Stratford-Ohura railway. The Court held that an entry upon land under the provisions of section 180 of the Public Works Act of ISS4 (section 2CO of the Act of 1908), was not an entry within the meaning of section 70 of tbo Act of 1908, and where land was after being occupied some years under section 180 takon for public works under provision* of the Public Works Act, ISOB, compensation had accordingly to bo assessed as at the date of the proclamation of the taking of the I.uid for public works.
